about

As the final chapter into my improvisational, stream-of-consciousness, James Joycian, Carl Jungian, psychedelic explorations, Springdomery 2013 captures for me a personal prophecy of things going on and things to expect.

Without much knowledge of my future, some of the literal content came true. Lookout Math, Lookout Mountains, for example, foreshadowed my departure from Athens to Wilsonville and enrolling in some math classes. At the time of recording, I had no idea I was going to be taking these classes, so that was interesting.

Around 18-20 months in the making, this album marks the first time I've put together what I would consider a complete, conceptual work. A work of art, I believe.

It's my hope that the music makes you smile and comforts you when we face these life events together. And most of all, I hope you gain inspiration.

Peace and thanks for listening.
-John
